Why we made it
Good product photos sell. But a photoshoot with a model, a studio and a photographer costs more than most people have when they are just starting out. We used AI to build a part of A Pose Studio as a free app, so anyone starting a business without capital can have studio-quality photos from day one.
It is free and open source under the MIT licence. You can read every line of the code, and everything you make is kept on your computer. Only what a photo needs is sent to OpenAI, with your own key.
How it works
- Add a photo of your product.
- Pick a studio model (there are 377 of them), poses and a scene.
- Aaina Desktop makes the photos and saves them on your computer.
The photos are made with your own OpenAI account, for about $0.05 a photo, billed by OpenAI. There is no account with us and no subscription. Your shoots, photos and models stay on your computer.
It has more than the basics: ghost mannequin and flat-lay photos, Make again, Fix something, Other colours, and your own models, your own poses and your own scenes.
Signing in with ChatGPT is optional. It does the readings (your product, a pose from a photo, the checks on a model you make) on your ChatGPT plan. Photos are always made with your OpenAI key.
Tested before every release
Every release is installed on fresh Windows and Linux machines and used to make a real photo, before we publish it. Each release also comes with a checksum list and GitHub's signed proof of where every file was built.
